Diets are not the solution for long term sustainable weight loss, they don’t work! Diets involve depriving ourselves of eating when our body is telling us it’s hungry, or forbid certain foods altogether, which only makes them seem more attractive. Now as soon as we say we shouldn’t eat a particular food, our mind starts thinking about it, and sooner or later we give in and eat what it is we were focusing on.

When you relax around food and give yourself permission to eat what you want you can begin to regain control of your eating habits. The same theory works when we keep telling ourselves we don’t want to be fat, our attention becomes focused on being fat, making it very difficult to lose weight whilst we’re frustrated and feeling negative about ourselves. When you focus on being the slim person you want to be, your mind will work towards that goal.
Your session
In just one session, lasting up to 2½ hours, I teach you the concept of how to lose weight naturally without dieting, and then I teach you simple, quick, powerful mind techniques to enable you to easily follow the recommended guidelines.
Please note this is not a diet, I do not offer nutritional advice as you already know which foods are or aren’t healthy. This weight loss system is not intended to enable rapid instant weight loss which is bad for your health. It took time for the weight to go on and it takes time for the weight to come off. It is not instant but it is permanent! By changing your mindset, and with ongoing use of ‘mind exercises’ to maintain a healthy relationship with food, you can lose weight permanently.
In your session, together we can:
- Breakthrough the barriers which have been blocking you from losing weight
- Get rid of any emotional baggage which may have led to/be contributing to unhelpful eating habits.
- Collapse an addiction to a particular food (e.g. chocolate, crisps) if required.
Then I will teach you:
- How to stay in the right mindset to lose weight
- How to eliminate cravings using TFT
- How to stay positive, focused and motivated.
- How to ‘think slim to be slim’
- How to deal with many emotions (stress, anxiety, frustration, anger etc) which can lead to emotional eating
I will provide you with full written instruction of all techniques to use after your session, as these quick, simple, powerful ‘mind exercises’ are key to your ongoing success.

Hi Susan
I thought I’d wait to write to you to see how I found the first few weeks after our meetings ended.
I’m so pleased to say that all is going so well!!!! I feel so positive about life it’s unbelievable. Although what happened to me was awful I realise that I have to draw a line under it all and move on for the sake of my sanity and family life. And thanks to you and our sessions the fact I never got my apology is something that is “ok” – I still think they should’ve but it hasn’t reduced me to tears since seeing you and it’s not something I now think about daily – my mind feels free!
I’m now completely off the anti-depressants and that in itself is a wonderful feeling.
Turning to my weight – I’m glad to report I’ve now lost 1 stone and half a pound; still a way to go but am sticking with the plan and that’s great. The binging has practically stopped. I have had 2 episodes where I could’ve potentially lost the plot but managed to reign myself back in and the damage was very small and I didn’t beat myself up about it.
I’m still tapping and doing the collarbone breathing technique – have even done it on the commuter train ! I feel very positive about life.
