Happy Habits

Below are some Happy Habits which I use on a daily basis….they are simple and highly effective.  Give them a go and please feel free to email me if you have any questions, or let me know how you get on with them.

  1. Smile Lots!  I also make it my daily mission to ‘spread a smile’……Give it a go….smile at someone you encounter today and you’ll be amazed how easy it is to get them to smile right back at you! :-)
  2. Walk Tall  Here’s a posture experiment for you….stand up, hunch your shoulders, look at the floor and walk around for a few minutes…….notice how this makes you feel…
    And now…stand tall, shoulders back and softened, head held high, look up slightly, relax and smile…. Walk around like this for a few minutes………notice how you can feel much more positive like this……
  3. Be Kind…to yourself and others.  Notice opportunities for Random Acts of Kindness and Go For It! When we are kind to other people we also experience good feelings. “The best way to cheer yourself up is to try to cheer someone else up.” Mark Twain
  4. Have an Attitude of Gratitude……When we regularly count our blessings and give thanks for all the things we are grateful for, we teach our mind to focus positively enabling us to feel happier……….. Today I am especially grateful for all the wonderful people in my life :-) What are you grateful for today……………..?
